Vellai Pookal :Translation attempt

To counter Monday blues, went mesmerised with this song 'Vellai Pookal' (lyrics Vairamuthu) composed by A.R Rahman. I could not find a suitable translation for it so I tried my own. (For convenience I place it in the Avante-Garde style)

Flowers of Peace
(in Tamil: 'Vellai Pookal' - literally translated as 'White Flowers')

White flowers blossom across the world,
Dawn beget the harmony let prevail on earth,
Golden hue shine upon the gloomy soil,
Floral buds from their grogginess awaken brisk,

Child wakes up
to the warmth, ardor of its mother
World awakens
imbued with a cherub's smile

Gale's concert,
Rainfall's chorale, can they elicit the ecstasy of silence ?
A million composition, a poet's well knit verse
can they convey a drop of tear shed shall express ?

Where an infant's wish with its arm's gesture
there show yourself thy graceful moon
When human race relinquish war and cease
there should sing the cuckoo peace.
